Sydney Lockdown Day 21

3rd week already and somehow I managed to wake up around 6.30am! And its not even a school day! Even though the sun was shining through my skylight, the winds were quite ferocious. Leaves were blowing everywhere and I decided to snuggle into my oodie for the whole day.

I had a light brunch with my fave cruskits and decided to nap later. In the end, I didn’t even get to nap as I was hooked onto watching this series Van Helsing on Netflix. I love the same titled movie by Hugh Jackson and watched it numerous times so I was intrigued to see this version. It was completely different but still an exciting one to watch while I wait for the next season of Kingdom to come out.

After a few eps into Van Helsing, I decided to go out and bask in the sun. I thought the wind would’ve lost its strength but I was wrong. It was cold. The sun was in my eyes (forgot to wear sunnies). And the hill hurts.

But I loved the views and prefer this over rain any day.

It was around 5pm when I got back so I decided to finish the foods my parents brought for me. Too bad, the 粽子 became mouldy so I had to throw it out 😭 I honestly thought I could’ve kept it in the fridge for a long time but I guess, it was too long of a time.

Luckily I had a bag of tortellinis in the fridge so I decided to boil them up. Instead of sticking to my usual pesto sauce, I decided to adventure out a bit and use the leftover ricotta cheese. But first, I cooked up some onions and garlic, then wilted the spinach, squeezed lemon, poured in my freshly-cooked tortellinis then coated it with some ricotta.

It was delish! Lemon does make everything taste better and I’ve been cutting up slices to have in my water for a few days now. I need stock up on it asap.
