It is nearing 2021 already! I believe this is my fifth year bullet journaling and it’s surreal how I kept this going (considering I’m a bit of a lazy person).
I’ve been looking back at my collection of bujos and am astounded by my creativity yet organisation skills. I used to begin my bujos with travel pages as I’m often celebrating New Years overseas, but this time, it’s more mild. A nice change 🙂
I chose this pastel pink hardcover instead of my usual berry to symbolise this immense change I’m going through. Isn’t it cute?
I love bullet journalling as it is one form of way for me to de-stress and reflect on my current life. Besides that, spending my time perusing on pinterest and watching this YouTuber AmandaRachLee for any inspirational spreads, I like to find those easy-to-do’s spreads to adopt into my own practice. I’m not a creative person per se but I do like to make my creations pretty – one of the requirements I always instil in my students lol.
One of them included this dutch-door future log which I was quite proud of myself for successfully creating – and it wasn’t too hard either! I just hate those splotches from my gel pen but its quite simple to do!
I was thinking about what I should do for my January monthly page as I’m usually spending this time to include my itinerary details for my travels. Unfortunately, that’s not happening this year as I’m ‘stuck’ in Sydney but that didn’t stop me from finding these pretty postcards (I have quite a collection) to glue them in. Sydney is beautiful but it just needs a bit of refreshing once COVID ends. And I love the quote by Anne Frank “I don’t think of all the misery, but the beauty that still remains”. – It is true. We shouldn’t be too focused on the negatives, there is still hope in life and we are seeing it now!
Lastly, I wanted to include a fitness tracker which is something completely new. Before I would have it as part of my monthly trackers which didn’t work well as I would forget to fill in the boxes. I hope this would inspire me to keep track of the whole year’s progress on one page so fingers crossed!
I honestly hope 2021 is a fresh start for all of us and that we will continue to stay resilient and persevere in this time. Don’t lose hope! We are all in this together!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
