A nice, well organised and elegant restaurant (unlike its namesake) located in the 1909 Precinct in Haymarket. It is a place to come to for your hot pot needs and the service is impeccable. The staff were very accomodating and professional while I was here.
This restaurant definitely embraces the high technology from the check-in to ordering food from their online menu. If you have WeChat, it’s easier to gain access to their menu.
It didn’t take too long to get used to the options and the scrolling of the menu to order what we wanted – MEAT! and veggies too haha
Each waiter/waitress were assigned a particular area to oversee and the one assigned to us was friendly and helpful. She made their famous sauce for us to try as well as explaining how the process works.
The ingredients didn’t take too long to arrive and they quickly filled up the table. We ordered a lot more than pictured (once I got started, phone was tucked away lol) including the enoki mushrooms, veggies, wagyu tongue, etc.
They also serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as my fave Wong Lo Kat! If you haven’t tried this, you should.
At the end, you are given a choice to have either vanilla or matcha soft serve which was a sweet end to our dining experience 🙂
Too bad I tripped on my way to our next destination, and my ice-cream suffered hahahaha.
