My cravings for dumplings will never subside and it shouldn’t have to. Dumplings are glorious and man-made heaven. I seriously thank my ancestors for creating this delectable food.
There were a lot of options as soon as we walked in but we decided to order a row of dumplings to share between the two of us.
While we were waiting, we admired the decor and ambience. It was literally my first time here since their opening last year. I wonder why it took me so long. I’m amazed at how Castle Towers has upped its dining game. I truly love it.
I love the chilli oil for this wonton and used it as part of my dipping sauce for my pan fried pork buns. The kick of the spice was truly sounding and I can’t fault this dish. If I have to, I needed more quantities.
Their Xiao Long Bao was a tad disappointing (probably because I had better ones in Shanghai, and also here in Sydney). While I love slurping the soup, there wasn’t that much there 😦
Love the pork buns, especially the crispy crust at the bottom. The meat portions were small, compared to other restaurants in Sydney (which is cheaper too).
Nevertheless, I wouldn’t mind coming back again since its so close to home. I would definitely order this again but I know there is definitely better out there in Sydney.
