I actually came to this place a few months ago for dinner pre-Chicago Musical (which was outright amazing!)
As a person who visited Japan earlier this year, I haven’t gotten sick of Japanese cuisine and in fact missed it very much! Anyways, Rosan boasts a wide variety of Japanese food options and I knew I wanted sashimi, takoyaki, chicken and miso soup.
So what better way to have all of these options then to choose a bento box? I love bentos and it reminds me of taking the shinkansen back in Japan (when is Sydney going to have this?!)

The food came out quite swiftly even though it was packed with patrons. We enjoyed our spicy chicken but I think it was too much sauce on the chicken. Luckily I had rice in my bento to balance the sweetness of it.
The sashimi in the don and bento was fresh and honestly, what is sashimi without a bit of wasabi and soy sauce?
It was a great balance between the fried food in which I absolutely loved the takoyaki! Gosh, I want to go back to Japan!
The karaage chicken in my bento was much better than the appetiser because it is not soaked with the sauce! I think if I ordered the appetiser again, I would like to ask them to put the sauce on the side. I guess I’m a dipper.
