Mikirin @ World Square

‘Located in World Square in Sydney CBD amongst other eateries, this place is a nice Asian fusion. It doesn’t shy away from its spiciness which I like even though I can’t handle my chilli well (just give me a jug of water and I’ll be fine).

We started off with our drinks of Berry Blush – lemonade with raspberries and lychee – (not pictured) which was so refreshing and I loved how they had whole lychees in there for me to eat!

Our orders for food arrived soon after our drinks which was fantastic because all of us were starving! We started off with the entree of soft tofu with kimchi. I enjoyed dipping the tofu in this spicy dipping sauce and finishing it off with their kimchi. A very good start already!

Kimchi Sponge Tofu $6.9

Then, my most anticipated dish arrived – wontons!!!!!!! For those who know me, dumplings are my face and it was no wonder that I would choose this dish. I like how they added peanuts to the soup because it adds an extra crunch to the dish and the soup was good! Hot and sour never goes wrong! A bit spicy though.

Hot & Sour Wonton Soup $13.8

The broth for the sea deluxe dish was (I daresay) more flavoursome than the hot & sour soup. They had soft shell crab and also calamari which was why we chose this dish as well haha (gotta have seafood!).

Mikirin Sea Deluxe $15.8
