It’s too snowy and hard to walk to places. I was going to go to other places to take in the sight but I think today is the best day for an onsen. I actually went all the way to this onsen to be told that the private baths are open from 2pm 😦
And so, I’m back in Sapporo and am now taking refuge in a restaurant (which is often crowded). I’m going to take my time slowly until 2pm. I did think about going to the public one instead, but… I want to try private.
After lunch, I attempted to walk around the block but the snow started blowing into my face… So I gave up 😂
I went inside the train station to wait for a few minutes for the train to Shinkoen to arrive as it’s warm and toasty inside.
This town is just filled with pure white snow. It took less than 10mins to walk to the Shinrinkoen Onsen Kiyora whereby I can finally experience my own private onsen. It was only 1050Y for 90mins which was quite a good price because it included body+face towels, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
The mid-left photo shows the colour of the water which was brown but it’s good for your skin. Nevertheless, it was so relaxing and I felt comfortable because it was private.
This is actually my last night in Sapporo and honestly, I’m going to miss this place. I never got so excited at seeing so much pure white snow. Plus, I’ll miss their soup curry! I had it again for dinner but went to a nearby restaurant instead of that same place because walking through that snow storm is horrendous 😂
P.S – Short rant Currently in the hostel and I miss my new friend from last night. This new roommate seems selfish as she already used up 2 hangers for herself! HELLO! It’s clearly one per person.. And do you have to walk everywhere like an elephant?! I have to get up early tomorrow!!!!!!! So inconsiderate.
