Located close to Baulkham Hills Stockland Mall, it was easy for us to get there. I think it is family-owned and it is Taiwanese food. I don’t think I’ve actually went to a Taiwanese eatery before so I was curious about this place and wonder how it compares to the Chinese food I always eat at home and at restaurants.
When seated, we were given menus which had an array of dishes to choose from (yay).
One negative would be the slow service. Even though they have 2 people working the floors, they are usually in the kitchen or just don’t appear where the patrons are. We had to wait a while to order our food even though they said that they will come soon.
Besides that, I was glad that we didn’t have to wait too long for the food to arrive at our tables.
It was a scrumptious meal and I believe we ordered a tax too much for two. But we managed to eat through it all at a gradual pace because it was too good to be wasted.
Their version of the oyster egg omelette is different to Singapore’s as their oysters are not cooked through but still slimey and they added a sweet sauce over it. I quite enjoyed eating this and daresay, I like it more than Singapore’s (I just don’t like the texture of cooked oysters). However, it was too much sauce which made it too sweet.
Wouldn’t mind coming back as there is more to try!
