Previously known as Lowenbrau, I only just realized yesterday that they had changed their name. Even then, they are still popular with the locals as we were all singing and dancing with German biers in our hands!
We ordered a 2L bier tube to start off our dinner course for the night! It was exciting to have our own mini tap on the table and great to serve ourselves whenever we feel like it. It was $48 and we chose to fill it with FRANZISKANER HEFE WEISSBIER HELL.
We decided to order platters and other foods to share between the seven of us. When you go to a German restaurant, you must always have either their sausages, pork knuckle or pork belly with crispy skin! In this case, we ordered a bit of everything in addition to sides: chicken wings, salt & pepper squids and fish & chips.
The food was plenty for all of us. We started digging in as soon as the food arrived and it was an awesome sight! The crispy skin was such a delight and those mashed potatoes…MMMMM! YUMMY!
Of course the 2L beer was not enough for me so I had to order some schnapps. I took a photo of this honey schnapp which I fell in love when I had it the last time at Bavarian Bier.
