Bought this book last year and haven’t had a chance to read it since a few days ago.
From the first few pages…I thought the story seemed so familiar…I’m pretty sure I read this before as a young child.
This is a mature children’s novella with a lot of moral and reproach to the story. That is, respect everyone you meet – don’t change your attitude based on their social standings. Also, friends are the best thing in your life – cherish them, care for them and in turn they will be there to comfort you when you need them most.
This text is definitely well written and I love the illustrations that appear surprisingly within some pages.
